- Cadet Honor Code

Established in September 1946, Farrington's JROTC program continues to accomplish its mission:

"To Motivate Young People To Be Better Citizens,"

and has benefited over 27,000 cadets. During the 1950's and 1960's Farrington's two-year mandatory JROTC program was called the "Longest Brown Line" as it was the largest program in the nation, having regimental-sized units with over 1,500 cadets annually.

Today our program is one of 25 Public and 2 private high school programs in Hawai'i. Our battalion of over 100 cadets, which is one of the most active student organizations at Farrington, includes a Battalion Command and Staff, Color Guard, three companies: Alpha, Bravo, & Charlie. We have special elements like Special Forces, Drill Teams, and Saber Guard.

Activities include four Drill Competitions, Parades, Service with Adult Friends for Youth, Campbell Flag Football Tournament, Military Ball, Rough Rider Challenge, JROTC Cadet Leadership Challenge (AJCLC/JCLC), Waianae Adventure Challenge (WAC), Governor's Review, and JROTC Organizational Day. We also have "Team Building"  activities like our Christmas Party.

Farrington High School, and JROTC program was the first to receive the City And County Flag Of Honolulu from Mayor Kirk Caldwell. The JROTC program was noticed by the mayor when they helped out at the "Spread The Purple" event held at the FORD dealership in Honolulu.
